Shots Fired at Middle School in Indiana
A school shooting took place at a Indiana middle school on Friday, May 25.

There was a school shooting at Noblesville West Middle School in Indiana.

The Noblesville fire department reported that the suspect is in custody.

NFD and NPD are on scene of an active shooter at Noblesville West Middle School. Suspect is in custody. NPD will have more info when it's available.

The chief of police of Noblesville announced in a press conference that two people were injured. A 13-year-old girl and a teacher. Both have been transported to a nearby hospital. 

It's not clear if the shooter at Noblesville West MS was a student or adult, but we're hearing someone intervened and possibly tackled the shooter. Again, a suspect is in custody according to @NoblesvilleFD and two are in critical condition, a 13-year-old girl and an adult.

Last Friday, May 18, a shooter attacked Santa Fe high school in Texas. There were multiple casualties and injuries.

Officials announced that they will be giving a more in-depth press release on the afternoon of Friday, May 25. 

There have been 21 school shootings so far in 2018.
