Zuckerman: Thank 'The Frackers' for Cheap Oil this Holiday Season

Wildcat drillers played a substantial role in pushing down the price of oil, said Gregory Zuckerman, author of 'The Frackers'. Zuckerman added that Saudi Arabia remains the most important supplier in the world, but the fracking revolution has turned the United States into a marginal supplier. He said the controversy over the safety of horizontal drilling has died down after recent studies have showed it to be less dangerous to water supplies than originally feared. Zuckerman said the increase in domestic energy production has drastically changed America's foreign policy, especially with regard to Russia and the Middle East.
