Zoe's CEO: Roll-out Will Continue as Healthy Concept Proves a Winner

Zoe's Kitchen will steadily grow its store base in 2015 while maintaining a close eye on expansion costs, said the company's CEO Kevin Miles. Miles added that the fast casual Mediterranean restaurant chain is forecasting approximately 30 new stores in the coming year, most notably rolling out new outlets in the Kansas City area. He said Zoe's is taking share from casual dining competitors as opposed to fast food due to the comfortable atmosphere and healthy menu in Zoe's restaurants. Finally, Miles said the biggest pitfall in rolling out new branches would be to lose the company's warm, Southern culture.
