Zeta Interactive offers a Customer Lifecycle Marketing platform that puts it into direct competition with the biggest Big Data players in the business, said the company's CEO David A. Steinberg. Zeta Interactive is a private company, but boasts revenue of well over $100 million in 2014, up 68% from 2013. Steinberg added that the much discussed, potential sale of Zeta's competitor Salesforce.com will significantly alter the competitive landscape no matter the buyer. He said Zeta differentiates itself by owning the data in addition to the platform which allows for customer acquisition as opposed to focusing solely on customer relationship management. Finally, Steinberg said the company may have an IPO in its future but is in no rush due to its current profitability.
