You Won't Believe What Actress Melissa McCarthy Does in Kia's New Super Bowl Ad

Kia Motors taps actress Melissa McCarthy's star power for this year's Super Bowl ad, which introduces its Niro Crossover Hybrid. The ad features McCarthy rushing to save whales, trees and ice caps, while tooling around in the Niro.

This is the eighth straight year that Kia Motors has bought time in the Super Bowl.

The company sees a direct pay off in higher sales: "Super Bowl, we see, really helps raise the awareness and consideration for our brand, and ultimately sales," said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer at Kia, which had record sales in 2016.
