Yelp and Chevron Get a Downgrade, Las Vegas Sands Is a Gamble

In Monday's Analysts' Actions, we highlight downgrades on Yelp (YELP), Chevron (CVX), and Las Vegas Sands (LVS). Analysts at Piper Jaffray lowered its rating to NEUTRAL from OVERWEIGHT on shares of Yelp. The review website company also had its price target cut to $46. The stock has rallied 24% following reports that Yelp hired a bank to explore a sale of itself. Chevron was downgraded to SELL from NEUTRAL at Goldman Sachs. Analysts believe the energy giant will face margin pressure in Africa and Australia. Goldman also issued a lower rating on Las Vegas Sands this morning. The firm believes the casino operator faces tough challenges in its two largest gaming markets. TheStreet's Kurumi Fukushima reports in New York.
