Not only is Yellow Tail wine in just about every wine shop across the country, including the Costco (COST) - Get Report and Sam's Club (WMT) - Get Report , it's now going to be in the 51st SuperBowl! Yellow Tail, the #6 wine brand in the world, according to the drinks business, is one of the few wine labels that already has TV commercials. But this is its first trip to the Big Game! All Yellow Tail wines are something of a marketing phenomena. Yellow Tail makes 19 different wines and each has its own specific color. "So you don't have to remember the grape, just the color or the bottle," says Tom Steffanci President of Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits, who has been importing these wines from Australia since 2000. Many consumers are just looking for a wine that's ripe, fruit forward, easy to drink and under $10. And at about $7, Yellow Tail fits the bill. Oh, and the kangaroo on the label is actually a yellow-footed rock wallaby. TheStreet's Special Correspondent Tracy Byrnes has details from Stamford, Connecticut.
