Yahoo and AOL Upgraded, Chesapeake Energy Also Revised Higher

Bullish calls for AOL (AOL), Yahoo (YHOO) and Chesapeake Energy (CHK) in Wednesday's Analysts' Actions. Analysts at FBR Capital upgraded Yahoo to OUTPERFORM from MARKET PERFORM. The price target on shares of Yahoo was also raised to $50 from $40. The company's quote 'solid third quarter results' prompted the firm's bullish revision. AOL was upgraded at Evercore Partners to BUY from HOLD with a price target of $48 a share. UBS upgraded Chesapeake Energy to a BUY and raised its price target for the stock to $27 from $24. Among the many reasons for the upgrade, UBS said the company's high leverage has been reduced, visibility has increased and valuation is at a discount to peers.
