While other restaurants are closing down, Willie Degel is expanding his restaurant empire.

The star of Food Network's Restaurant Stakeout is also the owner of Uncle Jack's Steakhouse, along with Jack's Shack and Uncle Jack's Meat House.

He says the industry has been attacked, regulated, taxed and fined to the point that it is now in turmoil.

As a top employer, Degel says lawmakers just look at the restaurant business and try to figure out how to get a little more "meat off the bone."
