Will Cruising to Cuba Soon Become a Reality?
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH) - Get Report and Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL) - Get Report are among the companies expected to announce plans to begin service from the U.S. to Cuba as the Obama administration pressures Havana to complete pending deals. A Norwegian Cruise Line spokesperson says the company "remains optimistic" they will soon offer sailings to Cuba. Commercial air service between the U.S. and Havana began this week. Eight U.S. airlines are planning to begin flights from 10 American cities to six Cuban cities. On Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report President-Elect Donald Trump said he will try to reverse Obama's current plans, "If Cuba is unwilling to make a better deal for the Cuban people, the Cuban/American people and the U.S. as a whole, I will terminate the deal."
