Why the Trump Plan Could Lead to a Surge in Foreign Investment

Valérie Demont says she is very bullish about inbound cross-border M & A in 2017. She is a partner with Pepper Hamilton LLP leading their U.S.-India practice. 

Ms. Demont spoke with Rhonda Schaffler at The Deal Economy Event and predicts President-Elect Trump's plan will result in an enormous stimulus, which will increase inbound investment. She points to factors including promises of a U.S. tax cut, infrastructure investment, and near full employment. Ms. Demont went on to say that there are plenty of European countries that want to tap the U.S. user base.
