The tragic death of Angels starting pitcher Tyler Skaggs has shed a spotlight on the use of opioids in pro-sports. Nine-year NFL veteran Kyle Turley advocates for an alternative to addictive pain medications.
Turley retired from the NFL in 2007 after years of struggling with physical and neurological ailments. In 2014 he began a "cannabis regimen free of pharmaceuticals."
Since beginning treatment, Turley told JohnWallStreet he hasn't experienced a single episode from vertigo, which has led him to advocate for the use of CBD alternatives in the treatment of sports injuries.
