Ahead of Nvidia's (NVDA)   upcoming earnings report on Thursday after the closing bell, Jim Cramer said he's waiting to make any move on the stock. "I want to wait. I'm willing to miss the first 10," Cramer said.

He noted that his willingness to wait is driven by fears of investor reaction to the possibility that Nvidia will cut numbers.

Despite his caution, Cramer stressed that his Action Alerts Plus charitable portfolio is looking to buy stocks. "We are looking to buy things, not sell things," Cramer said.
