Why Gold Is Getting Its Groove Back
Gold is moving higher and some investors say holding bullion may be the best way to play the yellow metal.
A confluence of events caused the correction in gold in 2014 including worries about a slowdown in China and Fed tapering fears, says David Mazza, Head of ETF Investment Strategy at State Street Global Advisors. Those fears still exist, but, investors are realizing the importance of diversification and are getting back into the yellow metal this year as they rebalance their portfolios. Mazza also believes that investors are better off holding gold bullion than miners because it is a pure play on the metal.
