Who is Donald Trump's nominee for FBI Director Christopher Wray?

Christopher Wray began his time in government working for the U.S. Attorney in Georgia. He served as the Assistant Attorney General from 2003 to 2005. Wray worked under the former FBI Director when James Comey was the Deputy Attorney General. Since leaving the Justice Department, Wray has worked as a partner at King & Spalding law firm.

The role of FBI Director had been vacant since Donald Trump fired James Comey on May 9.
