Whirlpool executives Joe Liotine and Brett Dibkey sat down with TheStreet at the company's smart home-themed booth at the International Consumer Electronics Show to discuss new products, partnerships, and even a concept 'social networked kitchen.' Liotine, president for North America, said the Whirlpool products seen here are 'connected' in way that aren't overly technical and fit into consumers' lives. Dibkey, VP of integrated business units, also talked about the company's just-launched top-loading washer and dryer, which connect with Nest for controls that can prevent wrinkles and delay cycles to save energy.
