When Jim Cramer Thinks President Trump Could Implement 25% Tariffs
So, when should we expect another set of tariffs?
Jim Cramer weighs in on what he expects from the trade war.
But first, let's back up.
In case you missed it, President Trump announced a 10% tariff late last week.
And then, Monday morning, the yuan weakened to a decade low versus the dollar.
Cramer said that he now expects President Trump to hike tariffs to 25% on Sept. 2.
Here's what he said:
"Okay, so everything's going to have 25% tariff. Everything. So they go to September 1, on September 2, if the Chinese haven't bought any [agriculture], which they probably won't," said Cramer.
