In 'What's Ahead on Wall Street' for Thursday January 28, there are lots of earnings on tap but TheStreet highlights a few major ones. Alibaba Group Holding (BABA), Eli Lilly (LLY) and Ford Motor (F) will release their financial results before the opening bell. Then in the afternoon, investors will hear from Microsoft (MSFT), Amazon.com (AMZN) and Visa (V). Traders will be curious to see how Eli Lilly did in the latest quarter. Analysts' estimates are for earnings of $0.78 a share on revenue of over $5 billion. Compared to a year ago when the company reported earnings of $0.73 a share on revenue of $5.12 billion, both the top and bottom line are projected to be higher.
