Congressional leaders reached an agreement on a $1 trillion spending bill to fund government operations through September. The bill includes funding for airport and border security operation, soldiers' pay, medical research, foreign aid, space exploration and education. It rejects funding for a border wall and proposed Trump administration cuts to domestic programs, but provides $15 billion for strengthening the military. The full House of Representatives and Senate must still approve the pact.
