What to Watch Wednesday: HP Earnings, Existing Home Sales

On Wednesday, August 24, investors will be watching earnings from HP Inc. (HPQ) - Get Report and existing home sales figures. Analysts expect HP to report earnings of $0.44 a share on sales of $11.44 billion. This is the company's third earnings report following the split of Hewlett-Packard last year. Investors await results on the company's printer and PC businesses. PVH Corp. (PVH) - Get Report and Williams-Sonoma (WSM) - Get Report also release earnings on Wednesday. On the economic calendar, July existing home sales are released at 10am Eastern along with the EIA Petroleum Status Report at 10:30am. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
