What to Watch Wednesday: Deere & Company Earnings, Fed Minutes

On Wednesday, November 22, investors brace for quarterly results from Deere & Company (DE) - Get Report and the minutes from the Federal Reserve's November meeting. Analysts expect Deere & Company to post earnings of $0.40 a share on sales of $5.38 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the company posted earnings of $1.08 a share with sales of $5.93 billion. It's a busy day on the economic calendar. At 8:30 a.m., durable goods orders for October and jobless claims are released. At 9:45 a.m., the PMI Manufacturing Index is out, followed by new home sales for October at 10 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the EIA Petroleum Status Report is released. Finally, the minutes of the Federal Reserve's November meeting are unveiled at 2 p.m. Eastern. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
