What to Watch Wednesday: Can Box Wow Investors With Earnings?
For Wednesday December 2, TheStreet awaits quarterly results from American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), Box (BOX), and Aeropostale (ARO). When Box reports its third quarter fiscal 2016 earnings, analysts are calling for a loss of $0.31 a share on revenue of about $77 million. Earnings are expected to fall from the previous quarter while sales are projected to increase. We also have a handful of economic data rolling out throughout the day. We begin with the MBA mortgage applications at 7a.m. Eastern then Atlanta Fed head Dennis Lockhart will speak in Florida. At 8:15 we get the ADP employment report and the productivity and costs shortly after. Fed chair Janet Yellen will give two speeches, one at 8:30 a.m. then another at 12:25 p.m. Finally, we have the weekly oil inventory data followed by the beige book at 2.
