What To Watch: Virgin IPO, Petrobras Earnings, October Retail Sales
The week may be coming to a close, but there's still plenty to watch on Wall Street for Friday, November 14. Investors will look to see if the DJIA can continue its bullish ways after closing at a new high on Thursday. Shares of Virgin America are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol 'VA'. The airline plans to offer roughly 13 million shares for sale. On the earnings front, Petrobras is expected post earnings of $0.30 a share, that's nine cents better than a year ago. On the economic calendar, at 8:30am eastern traders will get the retail sales report for October. The report is expected to show that sales ticked slightly higher last month. Later in the morning, consumer sentiment numbers for November are expected to show a slight uptick. TheStreet's Ruben Ramirez reports from New York.
