In 'What to Watch on Wall Street' for Tuesday January 12, investors will be watching one big earnings report. After the markets close, CSX (CSX) will release its latest financial data. When the railroad operator reports its fourth quarter results, analysts are calling for profits of $0.46 a share on revenue of nearly $3 billion dollars. But, both the top and bottom line are projected to decline from last year's results. Overall, domestic shipments for coal have been pressured by weakening demand and a stronger dollar. Analysts believe these two issues will likely hurt the top line. On the economic calendar, Fed Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer givesa speech in Paris. Then at 8:55 a.m. Eastern, the Redbook will be released followed by the JOLTS report. Richmond Fed head Jeffrey Lacker will wrap up the day by speaking about the economic outlook in South Carolina.
