What to Watch Tuesday: Wells Fargo CEO on Capitol Hill, FedEx Earnings, Fed Meeting Begins
On Tuesday, September 20, Wells Fargo WFC CEO John Stumpf will be in the hot seat before the Senate Banking Committee at 10 a.m. Eastern. The committee's hearing is titled: "An Examination of Wells Fargo's Unauthorized Accounts and the Regulatory Response." Also, investors will get quarterly results from FedEx (FDX) - Get Report . Analysts expect the shipping company to post earnings of $2.78 a share on sales of $14.6 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the company reported earnings of $2.42 a share with revenue of $12.28 billion. Home builders Lennar (LEN) - Get Report and KB Home (KBH) - Get Report also report earnings Tuesday, along with Adobe Systems (ADBE) - Get Report . Plus, the Federal Reserve's September meeting begins. Its statement isn't released until the end of the meeting on Wednesday at 2 p.m. EDT. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
