What to Watch Thursday: Will Wynn Resorts Hit the Jackpot?

For Thursday October 15, a handful of companies from banks to casino operators are releasing their latest financial data. Those reporting before the market open include Goldman Sachs Group (GS), KeyCorp (KEY), Citigroup (C), Philip Morris International (PM). The companies coming out with earnings after the market close are Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Mattel (MAT), Schlumberger (SLB) and Wynn Resorts (WYNN). When the resort and casino operator releases its third quarter fiscal 2015 earnings, analysts are calling for $0.87 a share on more than $1 billion in revenue. On the economic calendar, the consumer price index and jobless claims are coming out at 8:30 a.m. Eastern. Then, at the same time, we also get the empire state manufacturing survey showing us how the manufacturing sector did in September. Finally, at 11 a.m., we get the weekly oil inventory report along with the treasury budget. TheStreet's U-Jin Lee reports in New York.
