What to Watch Thursday: Twitter, Viacom Report Earnings

The earnings parade continues on Thursday. Twitter (TWTR) - Get Report is out with quarterly earnings before the markets open. Analysts expect Twitter to post earnings of 12 cents a share on sales of $740.1 million. During the same quarter last year, the social media service posted earnings of 16 centsa share on revenue of $710.5 million. Analysts will be watching Twitter's user growth and monetization efforts. The Coca-Cola Company (KO) - Get Report , CVS Health (CVS) - Get Report and Viacom (VIA) - Get Report are also unveiling earnings on Thursday. As for economic data, weekly jobless claims are released at 8:30 a.m. EST, while Federal Reserve official James Bullard speaks at 9:10 a.m.
