What to Watch Thursday: Delta Air Lines Earnings, Fed Speakers

On Thursday, investors await quarterly results from Delta Air Lines (DAL) - Get Report and remarks from a host of Federal Reserve speakers. Analysts expect Delta to report earnings of 82 cents a share on sales of $9.37 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the company posted earnings of $1.18 a share on revenue of $9.5 billion. Delta shares are up roughly 10.2% over the past 12 months. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve officials are speaking Thursday, including Chair Janet Yellen, along with Dennis Lockhart and James Bullard. As for economic data, weekly jobless claims are released at 8:30 a.m. EST.
