For Thursday December 3, Wall Street awaits quarterly results from Medtronic (MDT), Kroger (KR), Dollar General (DG), Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance (ULTA), Ambarella (AMBA), and Five Below (FIVE). Traders will keep an eye on Dollar General when the discount retailer releases its third quarter 2015 earnings. Wall Street is projecting $0.87 a share on over $5 billion in revenue. These numbers are expected to be higher than the ones from a year ago when the company reported earnings of $0.79 a share on revenue of $4.72 billion. Some economic reports to look out for are chain store sales, which comes out throughout the day and jobless claims at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, along with Cleveland Fed head Loretta Mester speaking at a conference in Washington. Then at 10, we have factory orders along with the ISM non-manufacturing index. At the same time, Fed chair Janet Yellen will be giving a speech in Washington.
