What to Watch This Week: PepsiCo Earnings, Fed Minutes, June Jobs Report

For the week of July 4, investors await earnings from Walgreens Boots Alliance, the FOMC minutes and the June jobs report.

For the week of July 4, investors will get earnings from Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) - Get Report , the FOMC minutes and the June jobs report. The markets are closed on Monday for the Independence Day holiday. As for earnings, on Wednesday, Walgreens Boots Alliance reports earnings before the markets open. On Thursday, PepsiCo (PEP) - Get Report releases quarterly results. Moving on to the economic calendar, the ISM non-manufacturing index for June is released at 10am Eastern Wednesday, along with the minutes of the Federal Reserve's June meeting at 2pm. Thursday, the ADP Employment Report for June is released at 8:15am, along with weekly jobless claims at 8:30am. On Friday, the June jobs report is out at 8:30am. This will be a closely watched number, since only 38,000 jobs were created in the prior month, missing estimates of 158,000 jobs. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
