What to Watch This Week: Macy's, Walmart Earnings; Fed Minutes

For the week of Feb. 20, the markets await a host of retail earnings. The markets are closed on Monday in observance of Presidents Day. On Tuesday, investors await quarterly results from Macy's (M) - Get Report, Walmart (WMT) - Get Report and Home Depot (HD) - Get Report. On Wednesday, investors await earnings from and Tesla (TSLA) - Get Report , Square (SQ) - Get Report and Fitbit (FIT) - Get Report . Kohl's (KSS) - Get Report , AMC Networks (AMCX) - Get Report and Gap (GPS) - Get Report release earnings. On Friday, J.C. Penney (JCP) - Get Report and Foot Locker (FL) - Get Report release results. As for economic data, on Wednesday, existing home sales and the minutes of the Fed's most recent meeting are released. Weekly jobless claims and the EIA Petroleum status report is released Thursday, while new home sales are out on Friday. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
