What to Watch on Wall Street for Tuesday, October 28th 2014

On Tuesday, October 28th we'll get one of the week's highest profile earnings reports as social networking giant, Facebook takes the spotlight. The company is expected to report third quarter results after the market closes. Investors will be looking out for the mobile side of its business as it continues to be key with usage shifting from desktop browsers to mobile apps. Other earnings to watch include biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences, and bakery-cafe chain Panera Bread. On the economic calendar we note three data reports. Durable goods orders, the home price index for August, and the consumer confidence index will all be released Tuesday morning.
