On Tuesday, October 14th three major banks kick off a big week for third quarter earnings reports. JPMorgan Chase, the biggest U.S. bank by assets, is set to release its financial results before the opening bell. Citigroup and Wells Fargo will also announce third-quarter results before market open. Other notable earnings to watch in the morning include drug and health products maker Johnson & Johnson. Investors will be listening for any comments from the company regarding its blockbuster arthritis treatment Remicade. Also, Domino's Pizza is ready to serve up its earnings after the pizza delivery chain beat earnings expectations over the past three quarters. And finally, chip maker Intel will post its third quarter earnings after the closing bell. On the U.S. economic calendar, we watch for the NFIB small business optimism index for September.
