A major sponsor to NFL players and the U.S. women's soccer team, the company is expected to comment on the domestic abuse allegations against its sponsored athletes during its conference call. The company has recently terminated two of its contracts with professional football players. Other notable earnings include chipmaker Micron Technology, children’s publishing company Scholastic and RV-maker Thor Industries. On the economic calendar, numbers for August durable goods orders and weekly jobless claims will both be out. Also, Atlanta Federal Reserve President Dennis Lockhart will speak on economic outlook and monetary policy.
