For Thursday, October 30th we start with a handful of notable earnings to watch. Cereal maker Kellogg (K) and energy company ConocoPhillips (COP) are reporting in the morning before the opening bell. Coffee-house chain Starbucks (SBUX) is set to release its fiscal fourth quarter financial results after the markets close. Wall Street will be paying attention as the Seattle-based company hopes to again post same store sales growth of at least 5 percent as it has done for the past 18 quarters. Investors will be looking for an update on the recent spike in coffee prices, which are expected to pressure margins heading into 2015. On the economic calendar, we watch for GDP numbers and weekly jobless claims figures. Also, Fed Chair Janet Yellen is scheduled to speak in Washington.
