What to Watch on Wall Street for Friday, October 24th 2014

For Friday, October 24th we watch for some big earnings reports to wrap up the week. United Parcel Service (UPS) is reporting third quarter results before the opening bell. UPS is expected to benefit from lower fuel prices during the period. Analysts will also be keeping a close watch on the transportation company's international numbers, due to the recent economic weakness in Europe. Car maker, Ford Motor Co. (F) is also set to report before the open. The company recently cut its full year earnings guidance to reflect weaker than expected profit in South America and Russia, as well as its costly recall-related expenses. Consumer goods company Proctor & Gamble (PG) is another one to watch in the morning before market open. On the economic calendar, we note the New Home Sales level for September.
