On Friday, December 12th there are a handful of companies making their debut on the trading floor. We highlight auto parts company Metaldyne Performance Group (MPG), a supplier to General Motors (GM), Ford (F), and Chrysler (FCAU). Metaldyne's initial public offering of 15.4 million shares could raise up to $323 million dollars on Friday. Shares are expected to price in a range of $18 to $21 each. On the economic calendar, we watch for the producer price index and the consumer sentiment level as investors monitor consumer spending over the long run. Both data are set to be released in the morning.
