What to Watch in the Week Ahead: WhiteWave Foods, Macy’s and Viacom Report Earnings

For the week of November 9, TheStreet awaits quarterly results from WhiteWave Foods (WWAV), Dish Network (DISH), Priceline (PCLN), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Macy's (M), Kohl's (KSS), Viacom (VIAB) and more.

Earnings season may be wrapping up, but a slew of major companies are set to report quarterly results this week. Those include Hertz Global Holdings (HTZ), auction house Sotheby's (BID) and WhiteWave Foods Company (WWAV) on Monday, before the opening bell. Dish Network (DISH) and Priceline Group (PCLN) also report quarterly results on Monday morning. On Tuesday, we'll hear from home builder D.R. Horton (DHI) and Tribune Media (TRCO), which release earnings before the markets open. As for Wednesday, keep an eye out for earnings from retail giant Macy's (M), before the opening bell - along with alarm maker ADT Corporation (ADT). Wednesday is also Veteran's Day - U.S. markets are open, but banks are closed. Thursday is another big day for earnings. Kohl's Corporation (KSS) and Viacom (VIAB) report in the morning, while Cisco Systems (CSCO) releases its results after the markets close. And on Friday, a few more major companies like Tyco International (TYC) and J.C. Penney Company (JCP) report earnings before the opening bell. On the economic calendar, investors will be keeping an eye out for weekly jobless claims on Thursday and the October retail sales report, which is released Friday.
