In Europe, for the week of March 14, investors will be keeping a close eye on some key economic data and the release of the UK’s budget. On Monday, industrial production figures for January will be released. ‘It’s important because we are going to need to see whether the European Central Bank’s previous easing measures are working,’ Antonia Oprita, senior editor and columnist, Real Money. ‘The eurozone production figures for December were pretty bad with a 1 percent decline.’ Meanwhile, the UK’s budget is set to be released on Wednesday. ‘That’s important because it comes three months before the referendum on whether the UK will leave the European Union or stay in,’ she said. TheStreet’s Rhonda Schaffler reports from Wall Street.
