On Friday, October 28, investors will get the first estimate of third quarter GDP. Wall Street analysts are calling for GDP growth of 2.5%, topping the 1.4% growth seen during the second quarter. "The Q3 GDP report is absolutely vital," said Lindsey Piegza, chief economist at Stifel Fixed Income. "The first half of the year was extremely disappointing with an average growth rate of just 1%." On the earnings calendar, Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) - Get Report reports results before the markets open. Analysts expect per share earnings of $1.08 on sales of $11.5 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the company reported profit of $1.02 a share on sales of $11.38 billion. The company closed on its $100 billion acquisition of SABMiller earlier in October.
