What to Watch Friday: JPMorgan, Bank of America and Wells Fargo Release Earnings

On Friday investors await fourth-quarter results from a host of major banks before the markets open. Analysts expect Wells Fargo (WFC) - Get Report to post earnings of $1 a share on sales of $22.45 billion. Analysts expect JPMorgan Chase (JPM) - Get Report to report earnings of $1.44 a share on sales of $23.95 billion. Bank of America (BAC) - Get Report is expected to report earnings of 38 cents a share on sales of $20.87 billion. BlackRock (BLK) - Get Report is also out with earnings before the markets open. As for economic data, December retail sales and the December producer price index are released at 8:30 a.m. EST. Then at 1 p.m., the Baker Hughes (BHI) rig count report is unveiled.
