In 'What to Watch on Wall Street' for Friday January 15, look out for big banks to tell investors how they performed in the latest quarter. Citigroup (C), PNC Financial Services (PNC), U.S. Bancorp (USB), and Wells Fargo (WFC) are all expected to report their earnings before the opening bell. Out of all the major banks, one of the ones investors will be paying attention to is Citigroup. Analysts' estimates for the latest quarter are $1.05 a share on revenue of $17.87 billion. Both the top and bottom line are expected to increase from a year ago. During the same period a year ago, the company earned 6 cents a share on revenue of $17.8 billion. Since the Federal Reserve decided to raise interest rates back in December, investors will want to know how the company plans to change rates on loans and deposits during the year. A strong quarterly report is crucial for Citigroup since its stock has declined about 12 percent so far this year. Molly Henningsen, Research Analyst for CNBC's 'Mad Money,' said, 'When Citigroup reports on Friday, investors will be looking at their emerging markets performance. Emerging markets make up about 40 percent of Citi's revenue and China makes up about half of that. So Citigroup is more exposed to the slowdown in China more so than other big financial names.' TheStreet's U-Jin Lee reports from Wall Street.
