On Friday, December 9, investors await economic data and quarterly results from Vail Resorts (MTN) - Get Report . The University of Michigan's consumer sentiment survey for December is out at 10 a.m. EDT, while the weekly Baker-Hughes (BHI) rig count is out at 1 p.m. As for earnings, Vail Resorts releases results for its latest quarter before the markets open. Analysts expect the company to post a loss of $1.57 a share on sales of $183.7 million. During the same quarter a year ago, Vail Resorts reported a loss of $1.63 a share on sales of $174.6 million.
