What Sectors Should You Buy if We See a Stock Market Correction?
With stocks flirting near all-time highs, fears of a correction are heating up.
With stocks flirting near all-time highs, fears of a correction are heating up. According to one analyst, you may not need a specific playbook during the next pullback in equities. 'If you look at the last two times we saw such a pullback in the S&P 500 - January and February 2016 and August 2015 - it was almost indiscriminate selling across the whole market,' said Christopher Wright, a cross-asset strategist at UBS Wealth Management, based in Zurich. 'It almost didn't matter which sector you were in as long as you got in at the right time.' While Wright doesn't think stocks are due for a correction, he said the next pullback is an easy way to gain more exposure to stocks. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
