"The generics are under fire and I think that can end eventually but that's the weak link in the entire drug segment," Cramer said, adding that the government is scrutinizing drug price increases. Analysts expect earnings of $1.45 a share on sales of $3.12 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the drug maker reported earnings of $1.43 a share on sales of $2.71 billion.
