What Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton Can Learn From New Hampshire's Economic Success
Swing state New Hampshire has the lowest unemployment rate of any state in the U.S., at 2.9%, tied with South Dakota. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton may want to pay close attention to the success New Hampshire is seeing. "We have great companies, a highly educated workforce - we're also a small and agile state so we're able to partner up with businesses and institutions of higher learning to make sure the skills are there to grow the businesses that we do have," said Jeffrey Rose, commissioner of the New Hampshire department of resources and economic development. Peter Antoinette, CEO of Nanocomp Technologies, a private New Hampshire-based manufacturing company, says cooperation between government and the private sector is key to creating jobs and boosting economic output. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
