Happy 88th birthday, Warren Buffett. Many people have learned a ton from you, one being Coca-Cola (KO) - Get Report CEO James Quincey.

Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) - Get Report is a long-time shareholder of Coke, in large part because of the wide moat around its business. The fact Buffett loves drinking Cherry Coke helps, too.

Berkshire is Coke's largest shareholder.

Asked by TheStreet what he has learned from Buffett in terms of leadership, Quincey said it's a litany of things.

"He has literally written several books on leadership and investing, and I think they are always very pragmatic, and commonsense rounded in the fundamentals of business," Quincey said. "I think they are very profound."

Watch what Quincey said about Coke's transformation below.
