Wearable technology is taking off, especially for tech giants like Apple, Samsung and Microsoft, but the trend is starting to make its way to local authorities by way of wearable cameras for police officers. The goal is to capture everything within an officer's field of vision during law enforcement situations. In light of the tragic shooting of teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri last summer, police departments throughout the country have been looking into providing wearable cameras for officers to accurately document what takes place while on patrol.
