This year marks the 11th annual New York Comic Con, a whirlwind four-day weekend for nerd culture enthusiasts. Despite numerous booths and events that have geeks from around the world descending on the Big Apple, the most identifiable aspect of the convention is definitely the cosplay.
Fans from all walks of life don handmade costumes to pay homage to their favorite fictional characters. From The Atom to Dr. Napoleon Zin, every corner of the entertainment media spectrum is represented. If you don't see your favorites here, there's always next year. Maybe you too will be inspired to pick up a needle and thread because as you can see, the only real limit is your imagination.
