Wayback Burgers may launch an IPO in 2016, potentially seeking to join the crowded space of fast-casual burger chains. Wayback Burgers Founder and CEO John Carter believes his company can stand out from the crowd, based on its menu products. Wayback Burgers’ extensive burger menu includes a 'triple triple,' which is 9 burger patties between two buns. The company also sells milkshakes, chicken and salads. Carter also said Wayback Burgers' franchise investment costs are below other burger chain restaurants. Wayback Burgers has had success developing non-traditional stores, with locations that include Walmart (WMT) stores and Naval bases. The company currently has locations in 22 states and is expanding overseas. Carter said Wayback Burgers is currently profitable and has a debt free balance sheet.
